FLRN's Thoughts:
If you can go somewhere else. They don't reply, don't care and overcharge. I transferred from Valencia Community College to FHCHS after getting my AA. I wanted to get into a nursing program without a wait list. I did. The program was rigorous and demanding, as any nursing program should be. The teachers and janitors were nice but everyone else (secretaries, registrar, application office, business office, etc) were horrible. They literally sighed whenever they see a student walk in. They act like it is a chore for them to help and they usually end up sending you to another office to avoid 5 minutes of paperwork. By the way the other office will just send you back to them. Then after you spend four or more hours (it’s true, clear your schedule) they will lose your paperwork. Also get everything they say to you in writing. If they say you don’t need to take a class, get it in writing with their signature and somebody above them if you can. Don’t be shy, they’ll be as annoyed with you regardless. The finical aid office workers must be on loan from the second circle of [darn]. It’s that bad and disorganized. Pros: Clinicals are great Great amount of knowledge Great teachers Cons: Everyone above and under the teachers are conceded and not nice people They make everything a lot harder than it should be Summary: It is a great program but a horrible school
