SadStudent's Review: Griffin Technical College - Griffin

This school is a horrible waste of time, just go to a regular 4 year college. The school always messes up the registration process each quarter on the student affairs department end. The dean is no where to be found, after 3 years of trying to contact the dean I have not been able to. They lie about job placement (97% get jobs at graduation is a lie) I haven't met one person I graduated with that has a job right out of the IT field program?! (The field with the 3rd highest open jobs in the nation) Graduation rates for this school are 27% (national average is around 46%) according to census.gov. The closer you get to graduation the more problems you have with the school and the registration process. (they try to keep you there as long as possible) 2 year degrees can turn into a 4 year task if you aren't lucky since the classes you need are hardly ever available. The courses listed under the degree are deceiving and do not list that you need a ton of prerequisite classes in order to take those courses... Ugh i could type on about this school forever, the most irritating experience I have ever had in my education experience. You are better off running from this school.
