Crimson2000's Thoughts:
I loved my years at Harvard and met amazing people. Be warned, though, that it can feel like a rather big and unfriendly place. It's up to you to take advantage of all the opportunities that are available to you; no one is going to hold your hand and walk you through everything. Faculty are generally all brilliant, but some are better teachers than others. Student atmosphere is vibrant, but fragmented: students can pursue any interest, but there's not a focal point that people rally around as a group.
