honestreview's Review: New Dimensions School of Hair Design - Joplin

this is honest to god, my own opinion and my honest thoughts. the owner of this school, name sharon is one of those people who you either love or hate(no doubt). she's someone who talks and act how she wants because she thinks that she owns the school and has the right to do that. it's true she does, but she should know how to carry herself in an apporiate way. i think this school is so unprofessional, needs help and i don't like the way she runs things around the school. there's only 2 instructor there. ms. kim is helpful and sweet but sharon, is the total opposite of her. if you think u can handle someone who likes to [darn] at u 24/7, takes her anger and stress out on you, dicate you around then go ahead and go to this school. for me, i feel like i was in [darn] and so glad that i got out of it. u learn the basics of becoming a hairdresser, but she doesn't prepare u for boards, u have to prepare urself for boards. you do the same thing each day, you stay an hour in theory class and then 10:30 u're on the floor all day long working on clients. u basically do the smae thing each day. to be honest, this school doesn't teach u about color or updo, because the owner self doesn't know much about it. so u're missing out ALOT. to me, i rather go to a school where i'll be educated and have to pay more money then go to one that's less but u don't learn anything. this school, u relaly have to depend on urself and rely on urself. u basically teach urself how to do everything, no one helps u and no one is helpful. sharon is SO bi-polar and she's a big hypocripe. if u think u can handle her then go to this school. i personally don't hate being there when i was in school but i hated being around her or having to deal with her. she's a pain in the butt!
