Most online slchoos that offer courses in event planning and wedding planning are certificate courses, not degree programs. If you are interested in a degree program, which is what i would recommend, I would suggest to look into business and restaurant and hotel management. Most wedding planners are in business for themselves and do not make any money for the first few years while building up clientele. Starting your own business requires a lot of work and money. With a degree in restaurant and hotel management and business you will get the skills necessary to run events, then can work in the hotel/restaurant industry and gain experience while building your business on the side if that is what you want.Some colleges do have courses in corporate event planning, which you may be able to take as part of a business degree.Good luck!
