There will be much more technology invlvoed. Working from home will be prevalent. One new kind of workplace I see is the multi-company work-floor where many employees of all sorts of companies use local technology to hook up with their own colleagues whilst sitting next to locals working in other companies. It should make a great place to work as you potentially sit next to your local friends. No commute and still a controlled environment so no TV whilst pretending to do emails.
