jmf0725's Review: George Mason University - Fairfax

DO NOT attend this university. I am a second year law student and I have faced one problem after another with this school. First, the financial aid office lost my documents...three times. The latest problem has beed a misreporting of my student enrollment status. The school mistakenly reported that I had withdrawn from the university when I was actaully still a full time student. This caused problems with my loan companies. The most frustrating part was that no one would admit that there was a problem, or try to address it. The university administration in inept and does not care about students or their welfare. In addition to administrative and systemic problems, the law school, which is separate from the main campus, does not have a gym, financial aid office, or adequate health services. Law students pay for access to these features as part of their tuition, but only have access to facilities that are over a half away, and are not permitted to park on the main campus. Finally, there is little or no chance you will get in-state tuition. The school is definitely NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I would not recommend the school to anyone.
