loford2's Thoughts:
I'm a student currently at MMI and I couldn't be more dissatisfied with the video and motion graphics program. It's week 6 and I haven't been able to make it through a Final Cut class because the computers freeze up and you have to restart after you lost your work, this usually happens about 7-8 times a class period. The PC lab had technical problems for the first 3 weeks of classes. Then when I spoke to the president and told him of the sub-par education that his school is giving, all he could say is that I was right and he is highly embarassed. Now it's 3 weeks later, he's had 3 weeks to fix some things and we are still having problems in the mac lab, every class period! The teachers and staff act like they are doing you a favor by helping out out. I talk to students in the recording program and they love it, I think they built their rep on the recording side of it and are now supplementing that program with all of their other programs. Try to find another school to go to, this one is not worth the $28k that they charge. It's like paying triple for an MATC level education. I came here with full intentions of being first in my class, but after the battle of just trying to get an education wore me down.
